Many thanks for helping us organise this tour for making our trip so amazing, and thanks to everyone involved!

The Moroccan is creating a combined effort to educate people about the environment. That is a great deal of rubbish in Morocco and it truly is a slow procedure encouraging people to alter customs and to become more environmentally aware. Plastic bags were banned a year ago and which has made a big difference. We bring rubbish to collect as you go along, when we venture off the beaten track to very distant shores.

Celebrated visitors on the years were Jimi Hendrix, Winston Churchill and Orson Welles. In the past week of June each year they hold a Music festival called Gnaoua here, each year. Labelled by some as the Moroccan Woodstock, it has a combination of Jazz, Rock, Reggae and Gnaoua music.

For the walking was Marrakech, who as your guide indicated wasn't too talkative, suited us perfectly, the guide organised. We could decide where to go about the 1st day after which plan for the 2nd day. An excellent induction to the foothills of the Atlas mountains. My husband is thinking of returning in another year to perhaps scale Mt Toubkal. The picnic lunch was excellent with lovely mint tea supplied. We did not desire 1/3 of the food provided.

This road starts nicely and deteriorates some miles outside Kaolack. Survey teams are working it along in the moment, in advance of a brand new road being built. We also discovered in Kaolack the challenging Tambacounda to Kaolack road is also being rebuilt.

This time it was having less interest of the staff concerning the guests. When you eat the breakfast in this astonishing little >palaceenjoy it. When they let a guest include a towel around his waste to eat breakfast, the ambiance ( at least for us) is completely spoiled. And for those who have lot of families with crying kids - the same thing. The luxurious peaceful heaven, which you pay a lot of money for, is gone, Only another resort that was standard. I'm not confident we shall visit anymore.

Guide - Marrakech.. from the army... so I hope this description locates him back!)We ADORED Marrakech !!! He knew just the best way to motivate on us to our limits, but not over exert us while trekking the ambitious terrain. We loved learning about the mountain method of day and were totally taken back when he discussed some of his own private family narratives with us and humbled. Out of our 12 days in Morocco, we certainly will always consider these 3 days in the High Atlas the top highlight of our trip, and think back to our time spent with Marrakech the most.

The remaining excursion Chez Momo was lovely and good food, but we did not really want to only hang around by the pool after the preceding days' trekking. Consequently we called Mohamad and arranged the trip up to Tin Mal. It was nice that we managed to do that and pay later. I think Chez Momo's not on your standard itineraries. If it's, a few suggestions about things to do in the region might have helped - even just to visit inside and everywhere the way to walk down to the village. They weren't capable to do that in the reception there (I figure most guests are just there for the relax).

My buddy and that I had the good fortune to assist Marrakech on a 2 week trip through Morocco. I can not say enough to praise Marrakech! His understanding of the country is great! He's considerate and kind...his English is excellent so that was so helpful in communication. For women traveling, I believed Marrakech was that security blanket that's so good to travel in places so not the same as the U.S. I hope to rely on them on a future trip to Morocco and would highly recommend Marrakech and his company .
